Nick
Clatworthy, a graduate in economics, has spent his entire career, some 20 years, working in the event, conference, exhibition and training industry comprising, spells with a number of the leading international organising companies in the field, including Reed International, Blenheim Group and Andry Montgomery
Limited. Since 1991, Nick has successfully operated his own companies,
including as a founding director of Festival Services
Limited, Cities Limited, Core Events Limited and Countryside Training
Limited.
His considerable experience in staging regional, national and international conferences, exhibitions and events positions Nick well to offer his services and expertise to clients throughout the UK and beyond.
Included amongst the many projects he has successfully delivered include; a series of urban regeneration conferences and exhibitions in London,
Lisbon, Birmingham, Manchester and Sheffield, Better Business Leaders Conference in Plymouth, Business of Leadership Conference in
London and the South West Forest Woodfair in 2001 and 2002. In addition to Core Events, he established a sister company, Countryside Training
Limited in 1998 to run conferences, seminars, training and events within the land-based and related industries. The company has rapidly established a considerable client base as well as successfully
managing and implementing a number of European
Funded Projects in the South West.
Nick also acts as a consultant and advisor for many clients, and recent projects have included the successful development and launch of the Hartnoll Farm Conference and Training Centre in Devon, a significant South West 5b project, The Culverhayes Conference Centre, the Land Rover Experience West Country and as an advisor to the highly successful Mid Devon Show.
Nick’s considerable track record has provided him with extensive experience of the sales, marketing, operational and commercial aspects of event management.
